Vintage Violence was one of the very first handmade zines in the District of Columbia (well, College Park to be exact). Featuring reviews of obscure British punk and other bands NOT on the radio in 1978, Vintage Violence was the creation of Michael Heath. On this edition of LOST TREASURES, Mike Heath and old friend (and fellow-cultural historian) Jeff Krulik speak to DJ Mackie about zines and the music scene of the late 1970s and early 80s. They are joined by recording engineer, radio DJ, and record buyer Carl Merlson.
