 On Sat Aug 17, Lost Treasures explores the music and life of British guitarist Rick Hayward (1949-2012) who started in London with the psych rock band THE ACCENT in 1967, worked as a session musician at Blue Horizon Records, and recorded with many great musicians in the 1970s.  Guitar genius Glenn Phillips got his start in 1965 with The Hampton Grease Band, led by the madman Col. Bruce Hampton. The HGB were a staple on the Atlanta music scene in the late sixties and early seventies, and produced the worst selling double record in the history of Columbia Records: MUSIC TO EAT. Yet another example that sales don't equate with greatness. On Sat Aug 10 at 9am, DJ Mackie sits down with Glenn to discuss his influences, the band, and his subsequent solo career.
