Guitar genius Glenn Phillips got his start in 1965 with The Hampton Grease Band, led by the madman Col. Bruce Hampton. The HGB were a staple on the Atlanta music scene in the late sixties and early seventies, and produced the worst selling double record in the history of Columbia Records: MUSIC TO EAT.
