In the first two years of YouTube, I had over three dozen videos online -- all created as part of a Video/Film class I was teaching at the time. My students and I would collaborate on some of these videos; students were encouraged to create their own YouTube channels with unique video content.
When YouTube was acquired by Google in October 2006, Google sent me an automated request to tie my video channel into my personal Gmail/Google account. Not comfortable with that merger, I declined and my YouTube channel and all uploaded content vanished. Some of those videos posted 12 years ago had staggering numbers of views and comments, but such is life. Here today, gone tomorrow.
Below are a few of the videos that I salvaged from those halcyon days of YouTube. Unfortunately they are not HD video but they are lost treasures.
