 Bob Dylan turns 78 years old this Friday, so to celebrate DJ Mackie will be digging deep in the vinyl vaults to find the best + most obscure + worst Dylan cover songs. Perhaps covered more than any other American artist, Dylan has been covered by many other artists and there are lots of his songs out there, many of which never made it to the digital age.  This Saturday, May 11th, DJ Mackie is on the air for two hours: first, covering for Robin’s Radio show from 8-9am and then Lost Treasures from 9-10am. In keeping with Robin’s excellent radio format, DJ Mackie will be playing some of his favorite children’s songs plus feature a mom’s music set for Mother’s Day. Lost Treasures will explore all things MOOG, focusing on obscure tracks that demonstrate the power and beauty of moog synthesizers.
