      On June 23rd, DJ Mackie is pleased to have special guest Frank Beylotte (formerly known as DJ Fatback during his DJ'ing days in DC) from South Carolina pulling out many of his uber-rare private press masterpieces found over the last 25 years in the DMV and the Carolinas.   Saturday's program incorporates a set on weirdo Xian private press findings plus funk, soul and adolescent jazz like the amazing Foster Memorial LP seen above.

After a three week hiatus, I am happy to return to my radio show LOST TREASURES on 94.3 FM WOWD-FM out of Takoma Park.  This shows give me great pleasure in searching out rare private press recordings that are all but forgotten in our digital universe of music.   This week looking forward to spinning obscure tunes from the 1960s, 70s, 80s, and 90s that have never made it to CD (thank God) because of their rarity or because the music industry & powers that be don't perceive it as marketable or popular.
Get ready!  Lori Longmire's voice is going to bring it all back home tomorrow morning on the show...
