In 1976, local DC folk musician Charles Browning released his debut LP: A Choirboy’s Lament. As singer-songwriter and guitarist on the record, Browning appears alongside musical collaborators Emmylou Harris and Mike Auldridge (among others). Over forty years later, Browning has released two more albums in recent years.
This Saturday (4/27) at 9am, DJ Mackie welcomes Charles Browning to LOST TREASURES on WOWD-FM to explore his debut LP, to talk about the DC music scene in the 1970s, and to share other memories. Barry Louis Polisar, who appeared on LOST TREASURES several months ago, will also be in studio to be a part of the conversation with his friend Charles Browning. Comments are closed.
