Lost Treasures is excited to host award winning singer-songwriter Barry Louis Polisar in studio this Saturday.
Beginning in the mid-1970s, Polisar began writing his unique and clever songs, many of which are geared towards “children of all ages.” From the Maryland suburbs of DC with his independent Rainbow Morning Music label, Polisar released over eight LPs and many more CD recordings, books, and products. One of the most famous children songwriters in the second half of the 20th century, Polisar found additional fame when his song “All I want is you” was featured in the wildly popular film JUNO. DJ Mackie will speak to Polisar about his roots in the DC area, his large catalogue, and the development of his music over the years. Tune in this Saturday, January 5th at 9:00am on 94.3 FM WOWD or online at: www.takomaradio.org Comments are closed.
