Lost Treasures returns this Saturday, December 8th
after a three-week hiatus, Thanksgiving break, and vinyl expedition on the West Coast. This Saturday, DJ Mackie is honored to have DC music legend JACK BRYANT of the psychedelic rock group, The Fallen Angels. Bryant’s songwriting abilities, musical prowess, and vocal presence made the Fallen Angels the most successful psych band to emerge from the DC area, scoring a record contract with Roulette Records in New York, owned and managed by one of the most notorious scoundrels in the record industry, Morris Levy. The Fallen Angels released two LPs on Roulette in 1967 and 1968. Jack Bryant will be in-studio to talk about the beginnings of the band, how the DC scene reacted to their live performances, working with Morris Levy, and other aspects of his journey in music. Tune in Saturday, December 8th at 9am for Lost Treasures!
