Musical legends from the Streets of DC

This Saturday, March 2nd at 9:00am, DJ Mackie welcomes veteran music journalist Richard Harrington into the studio to highlight some of DC’s most legendary and important street performers: Bob Devlin and Flora Molton. Exploring the music of these two late musicians, Richard and Mackie will talk about their legacy and what they both brought to the streets of DC. Also in-studio will be Joel Bailes, of the Capitol Hillbillies, to talk about his musical experiences playing on the streets of Capitol Hill for the last 30 years.
As always, LOST TREASURES is dedicated to digging deep and providing WOWD listeners with access to musicians that may sometimes be seemingly lost in the digital shuffle of today.
